It is important to keep you and your family safe while staying with Al Tayer Real Estate properties. Our facilities management works during your staying, on the safety management operation in case any accidents happened, toward your satisfaction and comfortable living.  

If incase the fire has started on the building and the fire alarm started, the fire alarm panel will activate the pressurization fans in the staircases which will supply fresh air. 

Meanwhile, the tenants action for this are the following:

1. Keeping the emergency escape routes clear.
2. Keeping the fire doors closed; and ensuring that no modifications are made to heat or smoke detectors, call points, Sprinklers, public address speakers.
3. Tenants are requested to advise the building security personnel, or the management call center, if they observe any obstruction to any designated emergency exit route.

The guidance in the event of a fire or other emergency: 

1. Break the nearest fire alarm break glass unit and push the button to activate the alarm.
2. Inform the Security Desk
3. Inform all persons in the immediate area of danger
4. Proceed to the nearest emergency exit.
5. Do not use the elevators.
6. Keep to the right in hallways, stairways, use handrails.
7. Do not run when evacuating.
8. Move quickly and quietly so that emergency instructions are audible.
9. Once outside, move away from the building, proceed to the designated evacuation assembly area, and wait there until further instruction.
10. Conduct a headcount to account for all family members, co-workers and your visitors who were present when the building was evacuated.
11. Report immediately the name, last known location and contact number (if available) of any missing person to the onsite security or civil defence personnel.
12. Remain in the evacuation assembly area until released by authorised personnel, and do not re-enter the building until advised to do so.
13. Maintain access for emergency vehicles.
14. Do not reach or remove your motor vehicle.
15. Emergency evacuation plans will be displayed on each floor. Please familiarise yourself with these plans so you can follow any official directions to evacuate the building.

On each apartment, we provide fire protection system, fire extinguisher and fire blanket. Make sure to reach out our facilities management team if those materials went missing or got broken and they will fix it immediately. 

Our facilities management after receiving the information about the fire incident will communicate with the authorities to control the incident and to report the case to prevent any such accident happen in the future to keep you and your family safe during staying with us.
